lord of the skyby northernstarComment: Good portrait of the raptor. The background has some nice colour tone and the vertical lines add strength to the image. The vertical lines also coordinate will with the somewhat vertical lines on the chest of the bird. |

Juvenile Summer Tanager?by amjltComment: The background has some nice patterns, shapes and muted colours however I feel that it needs to be softened a bit (less DOF) so the bird stands out more. That being said, red, being a strong colour, helps draw the viewer to your subject. |
