	Rocky Mountain High by alwaysae Comment: fun photo! I would have preferred a wider and less tall shot (more like a panorama ratio) so the subjects could be better composed. Also, the sky being blown out in places takes away from the subjects themselves.

	The First Step, With Trepidation by davidw Comment: good lighting at the top of the photo, but the bottom suffers from shadows cast by the trees and bench. This had the effect of drawing the eye up and away from the main subject.

	Flying Travis by hurdlegirl12 Comment: the subject sure is "leaping" but the image is too small to adequately evaluate, and what can be seen, shows the subject completely out of focus. Not every part of him would need to be in focus, but some part, even just the head, would be better.

	Desert Nickel by Cory Comment: very nice image! I like the composition because the coin is an appropriate size for the image. Too big and it takes over, too small and you have no impact.

	Not a pair of pears by Citadel Comment: this is one of my favourites of the challenge. The muted tones work well with the lighting -- the high key background sets the applies off, while they are given texture through the water drops and good use of focus. 9
