Day 1 - Fading

So I figured out a few nights ago why the color was so off. It's not the processing; it's the light and my camera setting.

I've only had my camera for a few weeks (month max) and I figured that having it set to 'vivid' color would be best (it sounded better than the b&w, sepia, natural, and normal settings). Vivid color just sounded better, ya know? So I took some more pics in the same spot, same light and the natural and normal ones look alot better.

Haha, that is cute and I can totally imagine the trouble you had to go through to get it. I've tried taking pictures of the dog and cat playing but it never turns out right. You should take pictures of them sleeping...it'll probably be easier. :)

Day 5 - Self-portrait

I was taking pictures at UF's football stadium in the early afternoon and while walking around the inside section, I found a small shaft of light and immediately thought 'contre-jour'. None of those turned out too good, but I knew I had to do something with the light so I took this one. I darkened the background (leaving only the sign) and painted over some glare above my shoulder.

I guess it kinda does make me look like a rock star...all of your comments, though, make me feel like a rock star. Thanks :)
