Santa Transitaby posthumousComment: I turn my head to view this shot as well as looking at it straight on. It's compelling - the grain creates more shadows and her facial bone structure looks skeletal - a contradiction when my eyes take in the size of her trunk. I would never think camera phone ... more film with lots of grain added in the darkroom. |

Week 2by bsluijkComment: It can be re-lit in post - if you are interested please disclose what editing software you use .. if not, then depending on your light source you might use a reflector to bounce light on the dark areas - depends on if you have studio lights/strobes or not or are using natural lighting.
More experienced people can probably give you a more detailed answer. |

What are you doing, boss? (2/52)by KroburgComment: He is growing up in front of us (smiles) and what a little beauty. Yeah, I agree that a bit more room above the ears would be good but I love the crisp focus on the f/g - little blades of green grass fighting off the frost. |

_MG_5660by sulamkComment: I could watch a harrier hunt all day .. the ones here hunt using their ears to hear their prey so they swop back and forth over the open fields .. you can't predict where they will fly so shooting them is more difficult as they tend not to perch - you did an excellent job of catching him in flight with talons extended. Excellent capture of a difficult subject. |

are-you-thereby mariucaComment: Shadows make this shot a delight to look at - your title suggests a mystery - that the bear is afraid as so many young children are by the shadows in the night ..nicely done and suggests a great story. |

1. three and a halfby PennyStreetComment: You photographed the thin layer that separates the parallel universes - this shot keeps me looking so to me that makes it a very strong shot - b&w is the perfect choice - make a great cover for a sci-fi book. |

2013 PAW - Week 2by MarkBComment: Pretty greens in this - I think another person commented about not having any white in this and I would go a tad farther and say I would like to see it without the skin - it looks like a water fall or fairy wings .. yep, got to get practicing. Beautiful Mark! |

2013 PAW - Week 1by MarkBComment: Well, the lighting is a tad harsh but it sure brightens up my screen - like the sun came out as I have a large monitor - I am just getting into macro shots and you are increasing my desire to start practicing. |

behind glassby daisydavidComment: Really like how her? tail is pointing - there is definitely a special quality to film - I don't mind that the dog is looking away - allows me to ponder what is catching his interest. Nicely done. |
