mmm good.jpgby Rando D300Comment: Compared to the other tongue shot, I like this one better because she doesn't look quite as silly ...The catch light in her eye is beautiful, her lashes to be envied by any woman worth her salt ... I don't know how you did it but you built a portrait studio for moose out in the wild! |

moo.jpgby Rando D300Comment: The shape of the branch surrounding her eye echos her ears which I like... other than that, your typical good shot. |

we-lost-him.jpgby Rando D300Comment: Moose on alert! You can tell she is vigilant but you are still not so obvious that you are totally scaring her off....yet. You might want to experiment with saturanting the colors a tad more and a tighter crop on the left and bottom..cloning out the reed that dissects the mooses neck ... of course that could just be me. |

you want something.jpgby Rando D300Comment: This is my favourite shot so far.. your foreground is beautifully oof but the moose is perfectfully framed and in focus... it looks like her head is coming out of the darkness to eat that tender shoot, the colors are great, the detail in her head is exceptional, the catch light in her eye pefect... this shot has everything to make a great portrait of a moose doing what it does in it's homeworld. Tiny quibble, I might burn in the highlight on her noose a tad, might crop it a spot tighter.. but minor details. |

you-again.jpgby Rando D300Comment: Again, your composition reminds the viewer that you don't have the luxury of photographing these beautiful creatures in capitivy... they are in their element.. Northern Canada... of course they are behind trees... that's what makes these shots work! |

Lucky-shot.jpgby Rando D300Comment: She is keeping the trees between you and her... smart creature... nice job focussing on the moose and not on the trees. |

Kiss-my-Butt.jpgby Rando D300Comment: In this shot she is part of the enviroment where she lives.. the north.. she is drawn up, protecting herself.. kinda preparing for the brutal winter facing her... the flora in the foreground remind me of the snow to come. |

lets-GO.jpgby Rando D300Comment: Her hackles are up.. she is on the move... the composition is really good in this shot for the foreground moose.. would have been even better if the one in the b/g wasn't there... the sense of movement that is evident by her fur standing up to her hump would have been even more pronounced as the contours of her head would have stood out. |
