Looking at the thumbnail I thought it was a freshly sawed off part of a tree .. then I opened up to a lovely textured piece od metal .. life is so exciting and filled with treasures if only we are on the look out for them.

Another perfect capture Harvey - the tiny birds are so difficult to get a great shot of (in the wild) as they seem to be able to see you faster and get outta dodge before you can bring your camera up. You must hunt in a lovely spot as so much of your b/gs are all green or close to it. Looking forward to more as usual.

Well well Harvey, you outdid yourself on this one - I love to read the settings when Photographers are kind enough to put them in and I am amazed at how crisp the sigma is - mind you I have never held one so I don't know it's size but you nailed the important parts - the supper - I love how the wings are positioned - Victorious! Such a tiny bird and so much to look at well done indeed!

One would think that with the bright colors of her shirt that would be the first thing I noticed - but I was totally drawn in by her eyes - if people read my comments they know that my mind always goes to a story and in this photo I am wondering how she achieved such peace - as if she is remembering times that have brought her to this place. She has the same deep set eyes my mother had (I was robbed) and that might be contributing to the feeling of warmth and peace I am feeling. Thank you

I have seen these quite a few times but you added a little Ursula magic to it .. it's so crisp that it brings to mind a freshly laid, brightly colored stone patio. Or the footprint of a Sasquatch which I hear live in your vicinity :) Beautiful colors Ursula!

Taroko Gorge

What a magnificent view - on my monitor the sky has texture and the only part that doesn't is the part right above the ridge on the upper left right above the mountain .. maybe it's time for me to break out the spyder and recalibrate my screen - might explain some comments I get (smile)
For only the second time using payers you did an outstanding job!
Speaking just from my own personal tastes, I do wonder if you saturated (very little) the green f/g trees and the dried up stream? A slight vignette might do the same thing but again, that's just my personal taste and others might find it distracting. I would be very proud to have created such a lovely shot as I do few landscapes too.
