nice lines and crispness. Gets very complex down on that water though. Very minor considering the Great things that are going on in the photo with the birds looking at each other, the beautiful field, the great background of trees blurred out to force your eye back to the foreground. Very nice photograph.

Snap-shotish. It is a nice starting out photo and Good focus on the beak though. Need those feet in there. and the DOF needs to be set just beyond its furthest most feather. Reshoot and see what happens when you do that.

Bitter chill

It is lacking that WOW. The blue is definitely not helping it wither. Shows those colors with pride!! Might want to try a tight crop showing just a bit of the solid part of the post and all of those arcs on top. Crop the top leaving just a bit of head room for the bird to think about flying away and leave the colors sharp and bright. I think you'd be surprised what a difference it'll make. It only my opinion. ( . ) Here's the grain of salt to go with it.

Way to get down on their level. This is a very nicely thought out photograph. Look at those greedy birds underneath. The more I look at it, the more I see. INCREDIBLE PHOTOGRAPH- BUT... the birds aren't really the subject. The subject is more the scene as a whole. BUT... The Photograph is definitely frame worthy!!

Nice colors. Honestly though, the metal railing is taking away from the photo. Can't give a good reason why- but it definitely does. Still a nice capture with good focus and color.
