Intensityby buzzrockComment: This is one of the strongest street portraits I;ve seen on the site. You really capture the focus and intensity of the rider in this shot. The goggles and helmet really add to it by removing almost all recognizable elements to the face but the eyes. I'd try using a polarizer to cut the small amount of glare present. Without fail, this is my top portrait for this challenge. 9 |

a dog and her beloved, balancing frisbeeby KerryComment: Pet pictures are tough. The first thing I try and do is get on the level of the pet. Get on your belly and try shooting from the dog's POV. I'd also shoot in later afternoon or early in the morning. Mid-day is harsh and it will wash out your images. |

Native American Puebloby SammieComment: I love this shot. I'm a sucker for the colors you get with the mountains and the pueblos. The dog really makes the shot for me. 8 |

Extraordinary Journeyby qazwixComment: Who the heck needed you to validate this shot? THis is a great capture! I love the emotion on the boy's face. The balance is a bit off, but that's probably due to shooting without being able to frame. Congrats on what was probably a very, very tricky shot. :) 8 |

Extraordinary Sacrificeby digistouneComment: I'm looking forward to seeing how you did this shot. It's very US centric even without the flag. The Purple Heart feels a bit 2d in this shot, and with the US flag, it gives a feeling tha tthe shot is out of focus. The left edge of the medal also looks a bit oversharp? Not sure if that's an optical trick or not. 8 for having the rare well executed Patriotic shot. :) |

Cotton Candy.by surajbharComment: Many people think cloud shots are boring. I disagree. I love this. I love the shading on the clouds, and the color. 7 |

Take me home... by crabappl3Comment: Having just spent some time in a forrest where you have this kind of streaming light, I have a new appreciation for how challenging it is to get a pretty light shot like this that tells a story. Very good eye. 8 |

instant fireby Toby-DogComment: Not in and of itself an extraordinary event, but a very difficult shot to capture. Not sure if I like the addition of the fingertip or not. But it's a very strong image. 8 |

Natural Symmetryby ellamayComment: Very, very cool. Great as a thumbnail, great up close. I'd like to see it in a better light. That;s the only technical comment I have. 10 |

Road Rageby Dr.ConfuserComment: Right time, right place. Looks like a bit of a focus issue, or just slight softeness from the lens choice. As a cycling fan, I just enjoyed this particular capture. :) 9 |
