nice use of the classic S curve to pull your viewer through the image. A tad more height might make the composition stronger. I'd also rather see this shot closer to sunset. The colors are good, but I think the light is a bit strong. 8

I love the contrasts here, the tree, house, and ground balanced out by the green of the sky. The shot would be too overpowering if the sky was blue, so the touch of grey sky really helps to balance the image. 8

very nice high key shot. My only problem is the reflection, it's almost too much in the composition. It also looks like you lost some eyelash/lid detail when you converted to high key.

Right time, Right place, and losts of blown shots I bet. :) You've captured the power and grace of a bird of prey here. Nice sharp focus and detail all the way across. I might crop the left side a bit to eliminate teh building if possible. This is actually a great animal portrait, you can see the concentration in the bird's face as he lands. 9
