Serious Conversation...by DrakeComment: Thanks all for the ribbon.
It was definitely a chance encounter that I was able to capture the interaction between the young girl and the draft horse. I was there taking shots of the horses plowing a field, with a one bottom plow - it is an annual event where the local farmers come to this field with their draft horses to plow. There were probably 30 horses there. |

Troubled Waters...by DrakeComment: Thanks for the feedback, these lighthouses were painted this last fall so they are still nice and bright red, vs. orange from wear... and yes this lighthouse as are several along the lake Michigan coast, has a slight tilt to it. The lighthouse in Ludington is actually tilted 6 degrees...from erosion in the foundation. Message edited by author 2017-03-25 16:42:02. |

Windsong....by DrakeComment: Thanks for seeing that in my image... guess one needs to experience the wind and waves in person to really appreciate the "Windsong"... |

Red White and Blueby DrakeComment: Thanks, I never saw this particular entry, but have see this technique used before. It was fun to experiment with lighting and proximity of the glass to the flag...then there is the water droplet size.... |
