Inca Spiritby Rino63Comment: Hey - this is cool. Suggestion: a little bit of backlighting on the vase to bring out its silhouette, in addition to the light you already have, would have made this really special. |

Electric Earsby OmarComment: The white thing in the background is distracting, and the image seem very "noisy" ( no pun intended :) |

Starry, Starry Nightby Shadowi6Comment: This is a nice image, but I don't see the Painting with Light effect. It would have to be either light clearly directed at an object of interest, or maybe trails of light, or maybe just a warm diffuse glow around something. This looks mostly like natural light to me. |

Warm Glowby ThaiComment: I like the warm glow a lot. However, the aspect ratio is too thin: by cropping out from the bottom you would have had a better aspect ratio, and you would have gotten rid of the annoying reflection in the plastic / vase whatever it is around the flower. |

Light Paintby whiteflyerComment: Cool idea. Just wondering why you left the bottom of the can un-labeled. The lid is somewhat distracting, and so is the little thingy in the bottom left corner. |

lime lightby margiemuComment: This is nicely done, I like the soft light and especially the "waves" at the bottom of the glass. I think most people will expect clearly visible "trails" of light, so you might get voted down. |

Dreamin'by accadyComment: This is a very good idea, you have a very good inner painter in you :) If this was a real person, I would have scored this a 9-10 probably. |

An Apple a Dayby The_DentistComment: Well, a combination of a street photo with selective desat. I really like the feel of this kind of street photos, so was happy to find one that worked well with some color. However, I knew going in that such an image needs to really grab your eye in order to do well.
Thanks for the good comments, I am happy to have received a 10 and also a fav! |

The bikerby pmottaComment: OMG, a 4.47 for one of my favorites in the challenge... I guess when they write a book about DPC, they will use this image to illustrate the chapter "No-no's at DPC" |
