Something about this I really like. Maybe the centered composition? Maybe the blurred hand? Maybe the lighting with a dark stripe right down the middle? Probably all: non-conventional, which is what the street is about. My choice for yellow ribbon.

One of the better street performer images in the challenge. I guess it's the lighting that "makes" it. Bump to 8.

Bumping to 10. Excellent challenge interpretation. Street smarts is the first thing this image makes me think of. The blur and blown highlights somehow add to the non-conventional feel. That's what the street is about, right? Like the off-centered composition as well. My choice for blue ribbon.

10 from me. Such simple composition and yet such a perfect challenge interpretation. My choice for red ribbon.

OK, this is definitely something else... very unique. Yes, it does say street smart to me. Also makes me wonder what the strange pose is about, very non-conventional in a good way. I would have suggested toning the flash down by about a stop and getting a bit more ambient light in though.

I really like the expression, and the way it works with your choice of processing. Good job, and quite unique. I'm not generally a big fan of taking pics of homeless people, but you went with it in a different direction, and it works.

Very good portrait, seems to capture the essence of the individual. I don't normally like a point of view from below the face, but here it seems to work well.

Very good challenge rendition, facial expression and contrast with the t-shirt. There's something about it that I don't really like... I think it's the background with it's dominating mid-tone gray.

I could see this framed and on the wall of a jazz club... Something about it I really like. Would it work better with a person in the background? Not sure...

Wouldn't normally care for the blown sky, or the cut-legs composition, but matches the challenge perfectly so a high score from me. Suggestion for blown overcast sky: convert to black & white. The colored stripes steal too much attention from the face anyway.
