Silky-smooth winds of a spring night

I have no idea how you can show a wind in a photograph like this...but, in my opinion... this wasn't it. Looking at the photo for 5 minutes knowing what it was supposed to be gave me the feeling of movement of the branches. But, other than that... it just looked out of focus to me.

However, I do like the photograph for it's aesthetic feeling of softness and comfortability. (6)

Now this is what a still life should be! I love the silkiness of the water as well as the mirror-like reflection. This photo was very well done as far as focal clarity, depth of field and balance. If anything...I think maybe I might have liked the blossom to have been a bigger part of the photograph... but I have been accused of being strange before! :) Good shot (8)

The color and depth of photograph are splendid. However, I don't get the impression of 'silky-smooth'. I do like the selection of colors, the clarity and the arrnagement which, if nothing else... is silky-smooth to the eye. (6)
