Stagehandsby PhotologistComment: There appears to be some slight halo effect around your main subjects. This was probably a result of burning out the remainder of the image to focus the attention on the 2 men busting a gut. The Halo is more prevelant around the torso of the guy on the left and the head of the guy on the right. Without this effect, I would have scored this image higher. A true candid though. Well done. 7 |

Filter Tipby silverscreenComment: Talk about sucking it dry... Great capture of a great subject. Pity about the slightly blown out jacket, but being candid, and I discovered this myself, you dont really get all that much time to take a true candid, thus the lack of preparation in candid shots. 9 from me. Well done |

Al Snowby KatmystiryComment: Isn't this guy a wrestler or something? Nice composition and positioning of the subject. Did he spot you? |

DSCF0253-cop01.JPGby citymarsComment: Of the two mate, this is the one I prefer. Nice contrasting colours between the helmet and the red background. You can almost see his mind ticking over. One question that came from this picture to me, is he sitting on a horse?
How have you processed this. It appears softish. I cant help but wonder what this would look like processed nice and crisp. I like the look of images with such contrasting colours that are crisp. Pastel colours scream soft to me and vibrant scream hard crisp. Just my opinion though, and after sitting riverside for a few hours today, can understand how hard it is to get that great candid. |

The Passengerby TezComment: Doesn't look all that impressed to be there Tez. I like the feel of the shot though and the processing is great. Pity it was just outside submission times. |

Endangeredby emlbakerComment: Thanks Sue. I was originally going to leave it at the white border, but played around a bit more. I then found that I had gone beyond the history state that would allow me to go back to the border setting. It is a good point and I will probably try some more of these and will have a try with a smaller white border next time.

Sail Awayby Judie37421Comment: Such a soft image, somewhat lost some brilliance due to the two spots in the bottom left. Well done though and would probably have enhanced the waters smoothness with a run through noise removal software to soften it further. 8 |

Sunrise on Earth's Majestyby SpizzerComment: Fantastic scene. 7 for me. I think that this image would benefit from some work being done on the green trees. Giving them some POP against the bright colour in the rock formations. |
