shooting a trainby jakowski308Comment: I like the concept, but not sure about the finished product. I think that the light spot on the train is too much of a distraction from the other great colours created in the image. The two smaller lights in the middle are not too bad, but perhaps another position along the tracks without these two lights would have been a better option. Not sure when or for how long you exposed this but maybe to lessen the main light starting the shot earlier, (while further away) would lessen the effect. If this was the effect you were after then I congratulate you. |

Fenced Inby JamesKWComment: Fantastic portrait of a big cat here. 10 10 10 I really like it and think that the BW conversion is amazing for this shot. Hopefully you have a colour version available for view after the challenge is over. Well done |

Next In Lineby donenrightComment: Great work. Fast little critters and they are a very photogenic bird. I love the clarity you have captured in the head and neck area of this bird. They appear to be shielded like some sort of knights chain mail armour. 9 IMO. Well done. |

Hanging Coffin - along China's Shennong Stream by emaynerComment: This shot has the appearance of a snapshot rather than a challenge entry. I think that when the challenge is over and the shot details are presented it will show that it was taken from a great distance with a long lens. I suspect that it was taken handheld, which I suspect is why it appears slightly shakey. |

The Quilterby lissylouComment: I am not entirely sure what was intended to be the main subject in this shot. Perhaps it was the pin, perhaps the thimble. Part of the thimble is in focus along with the pin and this is where I am unsure. |

The joy of a winnerby bmartuchComment: No doubt you probably tossed up whether or not to keep the colour in cameramans shirt label. IMO just the colour in the main subject would have been great. The cameraman stands out without the small bit of colour you have kept as he is the only one in shot without a uniform on. Nice shot. 7 |

In A Dreamby TuckersmomComment: I think that I have recently viewed the portfolio of the owner of this shot. Great horse photography, and if it is not the photog that I think it is then I am more impressed. 9 |
