Day 18 - Brushby hajekaComment: It's cool that the highlights at the end of each bristle makes it look like a black optic fiber. I can't believe how big it looks... |

Macro Day 17by socalsteveComment: Cool use of diagonal and the line looks like an exclamation point. But IMO, the image would benefit from a little boost in contrast. |

Day-18.jpgby ZeppKashComment: Impromptu light table eh? Great idea and a very good macro.
BTW This is a leaf from Glecoma Hederacea , commonly called ground ivy. It was used to make a cough syrup. Tastes really bad though... |

Day 19.jpgby ZeppKashComment: Cool macro of something not so cool for your health... I like the blue BG against the glowing ashes. |

Spidieby ShutterPugComment: Ok: cold air = no spider (or at least slower ones). Since I live in Canada, I should be OK. I like how sharp its eyes are and the nice DOF. But what's that white thing on the right of its head? |

from the backsideby ShutterPugComment: Where do you live to get spider like that in your house??? Let me know so I never move there! That aside, I love the shooting angle you chose and the position of the spider in the frame. It's very dynamic. |

Water Drillby JMartComment: WOW! I want to make shots like this too!!! Gotta buy a flash unit first though :(
I love everything about this: the movement, the metallic colors of the water, the sharpness of everything. Excellent macro! |

Beached Leaf - B-Day 14by slaaksoComment: Happy Birthday - a bit late but better than never :)
This is fantastic for a lot of reason: the warm light, the sharpness of the leaf surrounded by a pleasant blur. Sometimes, shooting without looking does work better. Creativity, as life, just happens! |

Blue Birdby MelonMusketeerComment: This is really nice. The colors and the details in the feathers are excellent. One of my favorites in the side challenge. |
