the night beforeby thaasjeComment: The night before Christmas? I think it is a cultural thing to put gifts in shoes (boots) so I'm assuming that is what this is. It's a pretty messy composition. The lower half of the frame is dominated by blurry vague shapes of zero interest which do nothing to lead the viewer's eye to the main subject, the boots. The boots themselves don't make for engaging subject matter being rather drably colored and utilitarian. The toys R us wrap in the background just adds to the visual clutter. This doesn't look like much care was put into creating a visually pleasing image for the viewer. |

Keep ur head straight, Honey!!!!by doctabrezComment: I'm not getting the connection to the challenge. In terms of asthetics, the composition is good. The focus could be a bit sharper. This is just a decent snap shot to me. |

Jumped The Gunby Kris287Comment: You've probably heard this already but this is way to small to evaluate. The subject seems to meet the challenge but I can't really tell much else about the photo at this size. My hunch is that the ladder in the foreground should have been eliminated by approaching the shot from slightly different angle of view--a bit more to the left. My eye is immediately drawn to it to no purpose. |

For Sunriseby MAKComment: Very nice and it certainly meets the theme. Very nice mood you've captured. It manages to not be just another sunrise/sunset picture. Great job. |

Too soon, I should wait...by helderComment: Too soon to shoot the landscape without a car driving through your shot? It could be argued that you waited to long to release the shutter and during that hesitation car drove through your shot. Without the title this doesn't say much to be about the challenge them. Even with the title it seems to be belaboring it a bit. It's an interesting shot though. I like the red blur in contrast to the shiny wet street. |

Far too early to get out of bedby spart4cusComment: I wish there wasn't that weird thing that appears to be sticking out of the top of one of the posts because it distracts from an overall really nice shot. I would crop about an inch-and-a-half frame the right side of the frame and about an inch from the top to place the bird just at the edges of a upper and outermost thirds of the frame. I like the diagonal plane created by the sloping hill in the background. |

Too early for the fishermen... by doctornickComment: Very nice composition. I really like the wide angle view and the placement of the blue boat in the foreground. Very nice color. It actually looks pretty late in the day for fisherman unless they are night fishermen. Aren't fisherman usually at work before dawn? Without the title, I don't get a feeling of 'too early' from this. It's a tough call since it is such a nice photo, the best I've seen so far. |

embryo marriageby crayonComment: Funny idea. I don't think including the other eggs was necessary and they are a bit distracting. I don't get the choice of black and white for something like this. I would have placed the couple in egg cups and set them up on a harmoniously colored paper background with maybe a few egg attendents, a priest, or some family members. |

Too Early for His Savingsby TiberiusComment: This looks like a homeless person to me and not someone waiting to access an ATM which should be open all the time anyway. Am I supposed to think he is waiting for the bank to open? Perhaps it's a cultural difference but I just don't get it. In terms of photographic interest there is potential for a nice human interest or photojournalistic shot but while there is a certain amount of irony in what appears to be a displaced person resting outside a financial institution, the static surroundings are just too uninteresting to be hogging all the visual weight from the main subject. |

Before it melts...by KarendtComment: I'm not sure what this really says about being 'too early' for something. It seems to be stretching a point a bit. This is a difficult subject to photograph so you get points for that. I don't care for the long, narrow cropping at all. |
