just a weed....by suemackComment: I like that you shot from a less obvious point of view to really isolate the pattern that attracted you. Great effort. |

Wild Goose Chase on Christmas Morningby minuComment: This looks rather like a nice snapshot to me. I don't really get a sense of pattern from it. If you were attracted to the pattern of the goose's feathers than a tighter crop to isolate a single area of the goose is necessary to make a statement about that. I'm not sure if that is what you were aiming at because it really isn't clear in this shot----I'm just making an educated guess.

Sea perfection by patrinusComment: It's a very familiar shot but so you don't get high marks for creativity. However, this is lovely and well done. |

Silver & Blueby glad2badadComment: I like the colors and the pattern. I feel like there could be sharper focus on the metal. |

Reach Outby macrothingComment: I don't care much for the greenish cast I'm seeing on my monitor but I like the interesting radiating lines. There is perhaps a bit too much blank space at the left corner. |

Stringsby f00bComment: I think the hand and fingers detract a bit from the pattern the strings create, especially where they cast a very black shadow over the neck of the guitar. The area of dark shadow to the right of the frame draws the eye to no purpose. |

Bageliciousby jrjrComment: Clever. I feel like the bagles could have been wedged together more tightly and the background could be a cleaner white. |

stone patternby charlievComment: This was an interesting subject for pattern. My suggestion is that tighter focus is needed to isolate the pattern from the background for a really effective shot. When I look at this shot the pattern isn't the immediate focal point. |

Keepers of the Orangeby aspelinComment: This is creative but I think there are too many patterns competing here. There is the diagonal blocks of color, the line of the voitve candles, the square shape created by the round oranges, the larger candles and the verticals of their flames. It's all too much so the eye doesn't really know where to rest. |
