I don't like the shallow depth of field in this shot. The blurred fence on either side doesn't add much to the design.

Was this effect done in the camera? It looks like a noise filter to me but. It's a good image so I'll vote based on that but I'm suspicious of how it was achieved.

It's got some nice qualities. The contrast is a bit blah for my tastes and in this case I think the shadow is a distracting element. It doesn't unify the design of curcving lines and verticals. It's just kind of 'there'.

I like the interesting texture and the color in this photo. It could be a bit sharper in focus. Nice effort.

The black background is a bit too foggy and the colors aren't quite bold enough for this to be really striking. Nice use of the image plane and you've kept it simple. Doesn't wow me but it's getting there.

I like that you used an infinite depth of field (at least it seems that way) to really flatten the shape of the pasta scoop to an abstract form. Good use of bold, contrasting color and pattern. It doesn't wow me but it works.
