The Great Banini by jperez1690Comment: This is a neat idea and obviously well thought out. It seems a bit too cropped at the vertical edges. Because of the rather seemless background the sense of depth that this set-up requires is lost. It looks very two dimensional. |

Bananasby DiamondPeteComment: The composition is simple; a bit too simple, perhaps? I'm a bit bored by it. Maybe a few more bananas? The yellow has a distinct greenish cast for bananas that are this ripe. |

Yellow, Blue & Blackby TallblokeComment: I like the color and lighting quite a bit. I don't love the centered subject although I'm not sure where else you could place it. |

Banana Canyon, Southern Utahby magnusComment: I like the color and shadow in this abstract. It's perhaps a little fuzzy in the far right or maybe that section could be a bit darker? |

Something to Eat between Classesby tyt2000Comment: This is a nice candid portrait. You've placed the subject in context and the stairs make an interesting background. It could have been cropped a little tighter on the left edge to eliminate at least one of the distracting white spots in the corner. The focus is not as sharp as I like but this could be a camera issue (I have that problem myself). I like it, overall. |

The Banana Boysby ccaseyComment: This is a nice portrait. I like that the boys don't have shirts. It unifies the theme. I would have given it higher marks but I don't care for the motion blur (it looks like you used slow flash sync as fill light).
The foremost boy is too fuzzy. Also, you should take advantage of the maximum pixel size of 640 (I didn't lower the score for it in this case). |

Hellooooooo!!by orussellComment: I wish the banana didn't have eyes drawn on it. I just noticed that now. But The girl's expression is priceless and you really captured the sparkle in her gorgeous dark blue eyes. Her peaches and cream skin tone is very natural looking as well. Lovely. |

Banana Picnicby egillibsenComment: Nice natural portrait. They are really enjoying those bananas and each other's company. I like the field of daffodiles echoing the yellow of the bananas (I had a similar idea in my entry). What hurts this phtoto is the flat lighting. The color is a bit washed out. The models all have very fair skin and their faces have been overexposed. There is good detail in the darks of her scarf and the foremost girl's dark clothing but the lights are very lacking. |

banana's architectureby slonkoComment: Good composition and nice shadows. IT's a little grainy in the shadow detail of the background. Perhaps this is intentional. I don't think it works for this type of compositon where strong deliniation of form is important. |

Dried Fruitby osramComment: Clever and visually appealing. Works outside the confines of the challenge. Great colors.Simple background. Could have a little more detail and the focus could be sharper. |
