lightning, head lights n street lightsby sweetnsourgeoffComment: This really suffers from being just too small. I can't see any of the detail. The clouds overhead are intriguing. The tree on the right and the lamp post on the left could have been cropped to tighten the composition. |

Dancing Rainbowsby breezee70Comment: These are cool light reflections. Unfortunately, there is just too much going on in the composition for me to enjoy this. The coiled triangle is confusing to me. Is it a source of light or just a framing device for the actual light source in the center? My eye keeps being drawn to the outlet in the lower right conrer. The frame is a bit tilted. |

Dolphinby hallswelComment: I like the colors and the subject is nice. It suffers a bit from lack of focus. |

Glow of Innocenceby starmackinComment: You've captured a nice warm mood with the lighting. The composition needs improvement. You might want to consider the classic triangle for an image like this. I don't mean that literally --- I mean you arrange your subject so that they create the space of a triangle within the frame (you can look at classic portrait and still-life paintings for an illustration of what I mean).
I like that the depth of field for the most part but the foremost candle seems to be falling out of the lower edge of the frame. |

1817 Wine pressby DonCComment: This is a beautiful room and I like the warmth that is captured with the lighting. It is a little bit too dark in some areas. It could have been cropped to eliminate the flower arrangement and painting on the right edge of the frame. The wine press was rather baffling. I think it is an antique that is in the room but it appears to be just hovering there, rather like a UFO. I can't place it in this room and that is what really hurt this photo for me. |

Flickeringby MrZedComment: I like the warmth of all the flickering lights on the chocolate colored background. I don't much care for this formal arrangement. The wrinkles in the background detract also (I got a lot of the same comment about my own background in a different challenge --- the trick is to iron it first. Fun, huh! LOL!)

Lights at the House of Johnby tlchambComment: I like the capture of the lights and the shimmery looking glass. I'm not as nuts about the composition. The chandelier (candleabra ?) seems to be falling out of the lower half of the frame and the curvy moulding against the dark curtain keeps drawing my eye. This looks like a beautiful room, by the way. |

A luminous blanketby YlgurComment: This was a neat idea. I like the way the pattern of the afghan acts as a filter for the light. I don't care for this odd cropping however. It is also a bit small. I'd like to see more of the fuzzy texture from the throw. This is worth trying again. |

At The Train Stationby NicNic101Comment: I like the neutral color combined with the blue light from the windows. The pattern on the ceiling is quiet nice also. I don't care for this rather haphazard angle, however. The result is there doesn't seem to be a main focal point and the eye wanders a bit. |
