Candle lightby claudius1234Comment: Difficult shot to get right. Shame about the TV remote in the foreground - distracting. Cropping could have been better. Longer exposure may have helped too - although the candle flame looks over exposed. As I said, difficult shot to get right. |

Leaving...by gg3rdComment: Great colours. I like the out of focus family behind too. Good cropping, composition and lighing. |

Knight at C3by mike_dComment: Nice shot. Slightly under exposed? Some of the details on the knights lower body are missing. Better lighting may have made a difference. |

Enginewashby AlmilanComment: Thanks to all those who voted for my photo. I was not expecting great results. And more thanks to those who actually took the time to comment.
Yes, as a few have noted Thomas is possibly exiting the entrance, or maybe he is reversing in.... Anyone who knows the Thomas the Tank Engine stories will know that Thomas does not do everything as he ought to.
Special thanks to gjumi for his 10, and his story of how my image resurrected fond childhood memories. That was a wonderful thing to hear. It's the kind of reaction that I think many photogs want to provoke.
Creativity!? Differing opinions on this one, but at least I think I can claim that it was originalish!

in and outby tnunComment: Not much to see. The top of the door has been cropped off and the items in the room are not visible. Far too much noise too. |

Red Doorby ShrinkComment: Yep, it's a red door all right. It's not a bad pic, but the subject is a little too bland. I'm sure it looks better in real life. Better lighting on the path may have enhanced the overall look. |

Decayed through timeby PretoriaComment: Decayed, yes, but not enough to make it memorable. And the photo has been cropped too much. Seeing the whole of the door frame may have enhanced the effect. I can see jaggies on my screen - along the piece directly above the door. |
