This has nothing to do with art. This is a photography website. They have rules for a reason. If you can't follow them, don't submit anything. Yes, it's a good photo, but it did not follow the rules. Everyone else followed the rules. Why should this be an exception? If you don't have to follow the rules of the challenge, then everything should be a free study.

all I can so is... oh my. Richard, I read your comments to the DNMC comments, and still do not understand why you even entered this photo in this challenge. Wouldn't it be better to stop (your word) shoehorning pics and just put them in your portfolio? This is wasting the voters time having to see this and comment DNMC. If the photo doesn't fit, just don't enter it.
