Big Alberta Skyby EisbaerComment: Great dramatic sky and the warm colours in the fields contrast well. As this is a "colour & shape" shot I wonder if it could take a bit of extra saturation/vibrance boost. I'm not normally a fan of shots with the saturation cranked up, but I think this shot could take it. |

Barnes Creekby PhotomouseComment: I can feel my toes getting cold just looking at this shot :) There is a lot of interest in the lichen covered trees which contrast well with the evergreens; the shot draws the viewer into the bridge well, I'm just wondering if a subject on the bridge itself would add to the shot. |

Eyesby scarman1313Comment: Lovely model and the red of her clothing works well with the greens in the background. There just a little softness on the shot (perhaps this is a candid and she was turning her head?), but the lighting is sympathetic and the expression is fantastic. |

Pride In Captivityby LokikeyComment: The bolt upright pose does give the bird a proud look. I would have liked to see a slightly tighter crop if possible so that I can see more detail of the bird and the beautiful patterns on those feathers. |

Ranschanby inamoComment: A lovely subject, snow leopards are a favourite of mine. A pity that the focus isn't quite sharp. I'm guessing this is a zoo shot and that you're shooting through a window whilst trying to get a decent background and get rid of any out-of-focus wire mesh that is the bane of anyone taking shots at zoos.
I might have taken advantage of the advance editing rules to darken down the post as the strong diagonal highlight is a bit distracting.
That said, you've catured a great snarl on this wonderful big cat. |

Searching for Wood Faeriesby ivale28Comment: Nice idea and there is a lot of potential here. I would have the parasol tipping fractionally forward to hide those parts that have caught the direct sun and have burnt out - then viewing the back sections with the brighter sections behind them could also bring out those warm colours to better effect.
I would also crop in closer on the right-hand side despite it throwing the main subject off the third - there are strong verticals in the trees to act as points of interest and it would also emphasise the point where the path disappears. |

care for a dip?by IsaacComment: I like the positioning of the the geese, the foreground one definitely has a quizzical look that fits the title. A pity about the boat(?) cutting across the head which is a bit distracting. |

Sunny Side Up!by leonaComment: There's a good variety of textures to be had here, but maybe the stronger textures in the centre of the flower are making the shot top heavy? Perhaps pulling back slightly to reveal a bit more of the petals would make the centre of the flower more of a focal point and would also allow you to get more depth of field to keep the centre of the flower nice and sharp. |

Park Bridge Impressionismby fire911Comment: Striking pink, but tends to overpower the central subject and draw the eye up and left out of the shot. Perhaps there is enough texture in the bridge that it could take a stronger colour and reserve a secondary & more muted or complementary colour for the trees - thereby making the bridge stand out? |
