Road?by DannyByStereoComment: I have to disagree with the person who said that this doesn't get the feel of "less traveled" across. When you really stop and think of the time that you laid perfectly still in the road and had the camera there as well... well, I think you would have had to have been sure it was less traveled!!! This doesn't even take into effect the desolate feel of the photo alone! Great pic. My fav. |

Dew2.jpgby dssagent88Comment: Bump for comment? I don't think this is as great as my other dew macro, but I do like something about this shot a lot. |

Crystal_fallls_HDR2.jpgby griz210Comment: I like this photo. I think it would be even better if you cropped it between the far rocks and the close leaves (cropping vertically), which appear a little too bright for the subject you're shooting. Then a horizontal crop along the top of the bush line where the falls have their last fall. This would put the waterfall in the upper left third of the picture, becoming extremely eye-catching, in my non-professional opinion. |

SWEET!! by Wenders11Comment: Originally posted by Wenders11: I'm typing this from a public hotel computer because we're on vacation, but I just wanted to respond to this.
It's totally FREAKY how much these two photos look alike, but I can honestly say that I don't recall ever seeing the other photo until yesterday. My shot was not copied from anyone. I know that sounds hard to believe because they look SO much alike, but it's nothing more than a weird coincidence. Those sucker shots aren't uncommon, in fact there was another one in this challenge.
I know it doesn't really matter in the long run, I just don't want to be accused of copying someone elses work when I know that I didn't. I'm going to go back to my vacation now, so if you want to discuss it further you're going to have to wait until Sunday when I get home. |
Wendy, I'm not accusing you of anything. I was actually complimenting you on pulling off a better shot of the one I tried to do. I'm not surprised that someone else had the same idea for a similar shot. To think that I would be the only one to think of this concept would be quite egotistical. I was merely pointing out the strange coincidence that our minds had come up with on different occasions. Plus, if you were to copy a photographer, I would suggest someone else, like Librodo, anyway. :) |

SWEET!! by Wenders11Comment: Looks familiar...
Granted, your new one is much better than my old one, but I am still learning. Message edited by author 2008-07-30 23:21:40. |
