This picture is a bit small - consider resizing to something closer to the 640px limit.

To me this looks too much like you are shooting from above the table rather than on it.

Did you really put the camera ON a table to shoot this?

There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that the lime is making an entrance and hence this meets the challenge. It even says right in the description that an entrance can be an action!

I must say I've seen quite a few fishtank shots here on DPC which reduces the impact a little, but still a very nice shot.

This was a good opportunist shot, I think you were hard done by in the voting.

As others have said, the subject isn't very well isolated which is a problem since the background isn't contributing. Some combination of being closer to the subject, using a lower f-stop and cropping more would help with that.

Also I'm sorry but I think that this image doesn't really meet the challenge. Of course death is an exit but a gravestone is pretty far removed from that. The wrong side of the divide between originality and shoehorning, in my opinion.

Sorry I didn't comment during the challenge, I liked the idea but wasn't fond of the processing - a delicate subject requires delicate processing sometimes. I think you have attracted the ire of both the anti-processing crowd and the anti-nudity crowd :(.
