Old to New Penniesby DistantColoursComment: I love this idea, it's simple and elegant. The only problem I can see is the choice to put the darker, older coins at the back. It almost gives the illusion that the light simply faded as it goes back rather than them actually aging. |

Life into Lifeby lunachickenComment: I love this concept. It's clear what is going on without being grizzly or horrifying. It took me a moment to realize that that was indeed a fly tho. |

Rhoda ponders a difficult transition.by shamerComment: That is awesome! This is the first time I've laughed outright while voting on pictures. That must have taken a lot to get him in just the right place and pose. I know a lot of people are religious about the rule of three, but I think this would have had good effect if it was a center line. |

Transition from lifeby irishblueComment: Great idea! The background texture works really well. The flowers on the left lose a lot of definition from the shadows, but the shadows themselves do so much for the picture... hard to say which would be better. Either way, well done! |

Hydroplaneby De SousaComment: That is very clever! I was almost going to gripe about the blown-out top airplane, but the transition in colour and light just reinforces the shift. Well done. |

Day into Nightby darnokComment: Nicely done.
I know you couldn't do anything about them in basic editing, but the house lights in the blackness are a little distracting. |

Night to Dayby thomaspeopleComment: That is excellent!
The one thing that bugs me is the corners... the night/day transition is beautiful, but the darkened corners give the impression that it's being forced a little bit more. |

Got Foam?by wslComment: Sharp image, nice obvious transition in action. I'm a little confused why he's holding the razor in his mouth. The meaning would still be clear without it. |

Untitledby mistchild2008Comment: Haha!
Made that transition myself a few years back... nice representation!
Her eyes are gorgeous, but the face seems blown-out and it takes away from the center line.
That, or the line obvious on her nose is taking away from the hazy shift one side to the other. I guess it depends on which you were going for. Still, I like it! |
