Craigmillar Castleby AspenDComment: the grad in the sky looks a bit artificial... I guess you were going for a moody look but really the lighting is too even in the rest of the photo. Maybe some sort of vignetting would be better, or selective burning? |

The One Less Traveledby martincjComment: first glance seems too abstract... takes long enough to realise what it is... then suddenly it makes sense :) Hope that train wasn't moving - could be a dangerous place to leave your camera! |

spirals, spots and shadows, fur, folds and fibresby deblurComment: hehe, I agree I should have had the whole thing in focus, I shot it at f/4 because of inadequate lighting (a rush job!) and I had someone holding the setup at the right angle, so I couldn't use a longer exposure... well it was just an idea done at the last minute. I actually did another shot with just the spiral (and probably some better focussing), but chose this one as I thought it was more fun! |
