cardsby bnileshComment: Nice image, and cool looking cards. A bit over processed for my taste, looks more like a cartoon than a photograph. Not sure camera was placed on the table either, seems to be shooting down at the table. Still, I like it. 7 |

My stage...by zaflaboutComment: Nice idea, tho I think the figure could have moved closer to keep head out of shadows. You also appear to have a white balance problem here, unless you were going for the orange-yellow cast. |

Jadaby nickersh2oComment: Interesting picture, nice angle, though would be better if some light were hitting her face. Could be bigger, too. Doesn't look like it meets the challenge, but my guess is it does and the camera was sitting on a picnic table and shooting upwards. Nothing in the challenge said you have to shoot across the table. I just wish this was bigger. I'm gonna give you a 6 ... not great, but my first inclination was to give you a 3. |

Playin' the Bluesby SebastianeComment: I must be missing the table here. Nice shot of a sax, but the B&W conversion is kind of muddy. No rich blacks, and its kinda dark, too. |

Lehmans Goneby bmwk11ltComment: You're just joking here, right? Its a snapshot of a table, not even an on the table shot, and not a very good one at that. I hope you're trying for the Brown. If you're not, sorry. If this is a legit try for a blue, my first suggestion would be to pick your subject more carefully. Starting with a half eaten plate of pasta is not likely to curry you much favor with the voters. Also, watch your backgrounds. The bike is very distracting, as is the refrigerator, and neither does much to help the image. The tomatoes are nice, as is the light streaming in from the window, but the candle is out of place. Who eats by candlelight in the middle of the day? |

procrastinationby gooberrComment: Nice shot and idea, but too small. Looks like the B&W conversion could be a little stronger ... no strong blacks and whites. |

Forget the beef, where's the cheese?by cwalmyeComment: Good catch (or nice idea, if its a pet hamster or something). Unfortunately the focus is behind the subject, which leaves the edges unsharp and ruins the silhouette you are going for by softening the edges too much. |

The light of Knowledgeby saurongtComment: Great use of the challenge. I really like the angle you used in this shot. Even though you don't see the table, its clearly a table-high angle. Focus is a little soft in the near field (a smaller aperture would help here) and highlights are a bit blown out at the top and far end. Also would have been nice to see a figure in one of the chairs at the end of the aisle, perhaps bent over a book, but still very nice as it is. 8 |
