Ball - Fieldby tfarrell23Comment: Great framing and composition, sharp focus, good texture on the ball, time for spring training to begin. |

Frostby TallisManComment: My favorite in the challenge. Excellent use of shallow DOF to focus on your subject. Nice colors, soft feel. Very well done. |

Cool and Refreshingby CutterComment: I like the selective desat here. Would have liked the crop to be a tad higher, to avoid cutting him off in the middle of the eyes, but my guess is that was not even in the view, so it was either that or losing the bottom of the glass, in which case you made the right choice. 8 |

baby pictureby cheleComment: Nice idea, but lighting is kind of harsh and the reflected lights in the bowl are distracting. Seems to be oversharpened and a bit unnatural looking. 6 |

cardsby bnileshComment: Nice image, and cool looking cards. A bit over processed for my taste, looks more like a cartoon than a photograph. Not sure camera was placed on the table either, seems to be shooting down at the table. Still, I like it. 7 |

My stage...by zaflaboutComment: Nice idea, tho I think the figure could have moved closer to keep head out of shadows. You also appear to have a white balance problem here, unless you were going for the orange-yellow cast. |

Jadaby nickersh2oComment: Interesting picture, nice angle, though would be better if some light were hitting her face. Could be bigger, too. Doesn't look like it meets the challenge, but my guess is it does and the camera was sitting on a picnic table and shooting upwards. Nothing in the challenge said you have to shoot across the table. I just wish this was bigger. I'm gonna give you a 6 ... not great, but my first inclination was to give you a 3. |

Playin' the Bluesby SebastianeComment: I must be missing the table here. Nice shot of a sax, but the B&W conversion is kind of muddy. No rich blacks, and its kinda dark, too. |

Lehmans Goneby bmwk11ltComment: You're just joking here, right? Its a snapshot of a table, not even an on the table shot, and not a very good one at that. I hope you're trying for the Brown. If you're not, sorry. If this is a legit try for a blue, my first suggestion would be to pick your subject more carefully. Starting with a half eaten plate of pasta is not likely to curry you much favor with the voters. Also, watch your backgrounds. The bike is very distracting, as is the refrigerator, and neither does much to help the image. The tomatoes are nice, as is the light streaming in from the window, but the candle is out of place. Who eats by candlelight in the middle of the day? |

procrastinationby gooberrComment: Nice shot and idea, but too small. Looks like the B&W conversion could be a little stronger ... no strong blacks and whites. |
