Cries out for the black point to be sorted out: it seems quite a high value of grey is a far as it gets; that makes the entire thing look washed out, lacking contrast.

With their sign, just to resolve the doubts of the viewers. I get a sense of a strange pushiness to the shadows in this shot - not necessarily a bad thing, as it would enhance the decrepitude of the scene, but it feels kind of unneccesary here - the boarding-up tells the same story anyhow.

This kind of reflective surface always seems to cry out for a good soft light in a set-up composition. I think the backwards/forward foot position doesn't complement the very square-on angle of the scales, and makes for an uncomfortable dynamic in the image. Nice that you've shown just enough of the ankles to make clear a certain, shall we say, carrying of weight?

Not, I'm afraid, an interesting composition: I think there might have been more effective ways to portray this photographically, rather than a very straightforward image of the pile of clothes, centred, and over-exposed.
