Blackfriars Bridgeby paynekjComment: great to be able to spot all these London/UK photographers here. Like this a lot - I missed out Blackfriars on my walk up the river, and now really wish I hadn't. :-) Really like the red/cream/black metal, and rivets. The bricks, and the flaring of the sky distract from things for me, but not too massively. Good work. |

From here to Eternityby ArtifactsComment: Good detail, good focus. Not sure the verticals are vertical, if you see what I mean: check the nearest pillar - it seems to be leaning over. Also, some noise in the sky. It looks like it would hae been fantastic in colour too ... |

Bridge of Sizeby FreebieComment: Nice shot - is this the Orwell Bridge in Suffolk? Certainly looks like it: I almost drove out to shoot it myself, if it is. Not sure the white balance works for the sky (and here is a lot of sky here). Good stuff. |

The old toll bridgeby marboComment: Nice framing, dimensions, detail, focus. How much has the sepia tone really added to it? sure it works, but I'm a bit fed up with all the dreamy b&w type approaches. Not marking you down excessively for it, be assured. |

Winter's Holdby dmungerComment: Nice detail and colour - proritising the vertical doesn't work for me in this shot, which is not to say that a flat horizon would have worked either, but ... |

Cathedral bridgeby kiwinessComment: great colours, interesting composition. Would have liked more detail on the cathedral, but that's being hyper-picky. Very pretty shot. |

Centuries Oldby jimmyn4Comment: why b&w? I'm not sure at this distance that there's enough texture to warrant it, and I'd love to have seen the colours of the stone. |

Garden Bridgeby JakComment: Interesting bridge - marked you down slightly for composition - a bit too much foreground for me - and what looks a little like over-sharpening of details, especially on the tree to the left. Not marked down much though. |
