Time and Spaceby bdennyComment: I thought they were near inextricable, as opposed to opposed. Still. |

Same Idea / Different Approachby gocComment: I suspect your message may be a little obtuse for many - I hope I'm wrong. I like the parallels - the highs and lows of the wave of horizon framing the parallel points of the subjects; also like the reliance on the smallest possible details to carry the message - gives us some idea of a sense of futility in both these aspirations. |

War and peaceby Rino63Comment: A little blatant, and the angularity seems forced, and removes a sense of connection between the two elements to my eye. Almost like a pastiche image, rather than a single unity. Decent studio execution, if a bit flat on the lighting. |

Order and Chaos (inspired by MC Escher)by ChinarosepetalComment: As an illustrative image, as opposed to a found image, it seems OK to comment on the set-up; and I would wish there were more space around the broken glass - that the fragments were more distinguishable: they're crammed into very little frame-space really. The concept is OK, and well executed otherwise. |

Black Crowby turerkanComment: It is those silhouetted trees that make this image for me; like Easter Island statues, or like hieroglyphics, almost like numbers also. Very fine work. |

Why do i still exist?by marboComment: Because of the Landmark Trust? If it's the place I think it is ... going to have to look it up now. |

BFFby ace flymanComment: Strange. Having found such a scene, a moment, and then to undermine the entire faux-pictorial concept with that strange echo of the corpocratic world top right. Great job of pointing us one way only to deliver the solar-plexus blow with the hidden hand. It turns her from a pleasant looking girl having a giggle in a coffee shop into a victim, somehow. |

On a Rainy Afternoonby glodaComment: There's a powerful sense of Ennui here, and somehow your bonkers focus and composition is echoed nicely in that street sign - like those moments when the brain just refuses to fire up, and one just stands and stares, and everything seems like it ought to be meaningful if only one could bring some interpretation to it. |

Country Roadby daboardergirlComment: Reminiscent of Elliot Erwitt - probably only because of the car door mirror. I think perhaps the composition feels a little too forced to function really well - the time it takes to unravel the image perhaps might be more useful as time absorbing the impact? Far more interesting than most, for sure. |
