This is a lovely portrait, a lot of feeling and interest. However, the connection to brown is too coincidental in my opinion. In another context, I'd give it 9

Very well done. The tones are beautiful and the lighting professional. I would not have cropped as tight, personally, but that's always a matter of taste. Best so far in this contest for my vote
