	Cell Colony by h2 Comment: not bad. the focus seems a little off and the composition isn't working for me. i think the empty space at the bottom right is what's bothering me compositionally, or perhaps it's just the fact that the objects don't move from biggest to smallest as you move into the empty space at the top. - 5

	Breeding season by hanae Comment: the blur would be nice generally, but i think this would convey "biology" more if everything were in clearer focus. if, instead, you were going for a kind of Georgia O'Keefe allusion, then I would say you actually need more blur and less focus on the stamen. nice colors. - 6

	My blood inside the mosquito (food chain) by tripa Comment: nicely done. not a "pretty" shot, but definitely fits the challenge. white balance seems to be off as there seems to be a bit of a pink cast to the entire shot, but I suppose that could have been intentional. - 6
