Much too busy. I think you could have done wonderful things with this composition - maybe set them all coming down stairs at once and get the photo of them coming down...I don't know, but this composition is too static for a slinky. I think movement, motion.....

Make your pictures larger when you submit. They can be up to 640 on the longest side and you should ideally come as close to that as possible.

About the pic: What part of the silhouette makes us think back to a time before? I'm not sure I understand how it connects to nostalgia. Good effort, and my guess is it's your first. Keep shooting, keep trying. 6

First of all, I gave you a 4. I think there's something wrong with the focus and I don't think this represents any one season to me. It is, however, a decent looking subject and there are nice colors. Maybe something as a subject in this nice landscape would have made it stand out?
