Must have been a pretty place in it's glory days. I think that it's a little too unconstrated for a lot of DPCers tastes through my own experiences but, it's got a lot of charm to it. Makes one wonder what laid behind those walls at one point, doesn't it?

It appears as though there's some graffiti on the front left side of the door but, the editing has blurred it out. Why so much over editing to this shot? It would have been extremely eye-catching on it's own. I don't know how else to say this but, it's almost as though trying to make something pretty out of an "eyesore". Why not just leave it looking like that as the idea of being abandoned is not pretty? *smile* Very lovely picture though!

This really does say abandoned once it's really looked at to see the boarded up windows but, I think that it's the lack of detail that's creating the difficulty in seeing the boards. It's not as obvious this way. Perhaps, it was over coloured or, not sharpened enough?

The details in this shot seem to be over contrasted so they get lost somewhat and one has to look very closely to see what is really happening in this shot. Certainly says "abandoned" though!

interesting concept for abandoned. I like the wall behind as the backdrop and the idea of the colour in front of it. Seems that "poverty" is quite the topic to photograph the last couple of challenges, doesn't it? I'm just not sure that I'd get the idea of it being a place someone sleeps without the title?? To me, it appears like a bunch of stuff, left behind, which does say, abandoned but, has no real "punch" to the look of the photograph itself. Perhaps, having zoomed in more to it???
