Catby GussiComment: Interesting frozen position of this cat. I like the B/W here. The cat is out of focus, though. The negative space at the right is a good counterpoint for the bizarre cat. |

I didn't do itby lambrosiComment: Cute dog; you've a good eye for animal expression! The image is drastically out of focus, though. If you have a macro setting on your camera, that might solve the focus problem, as this is somewhat close. |

Golden Koiby KingLokComment: I like the position of the fish here; they make nice lines, and you've managed to capture the scales of the larger fish in some detail. The other fish seems overexposed, perhaps because you used a flash. You might try taking a similar shot with lights rather than a flash, or fiddle more with your levels in Photoshop (if that's what you use) to even the tones. |

UNWANTED GIFT FROM ABOVEby louie cComment: Gross. I don't mind gross. I wish it were in focus, though. You could even crop in more so we could get a better look at it, as long as we still know it's a hat. If you shot this close up, see if the macro feature on your camera works better at getting this in focus. |

Bungy Jumpby peterdehaanComment: Okay, you've probably gotten lots of comments as to how this does not meet the challenge topic. Beyond that, you have found some interesting lines here, and you've used the contrast of the white sides and dark underbeams to emphasize these lines--ultimately, the eye ends up on these stair structures because that is the most interesting thing in the image. Somehow I don't find that enough. Try coming here at a different time and see if different light would make it more interesting. Or try just cropping so that the image is filled with those cool stairs. |

Jugglingby DougPazComment: I'm sure some will say, "this is out of focus..." but I think that for this action shot it is appropriate. Good capture of movement. |

Tea with Orangeby gerardComment: Stunning and simple. Well composed and interesting. Colors are marvelous. I wish the oranges and whole teapot were as sharp as the teapot's lid. Well done. |

No customers!by kiwinessComment: There were a few shots of chairs and tables from above, but this, I feel, is the best. I love how the tiles are at a diagonal while the tables/chairs are horiz and vertical, and the roundness of the tables contrasts well with the other lines. This is simply a well composed image. I hope it does well. |

Round and Roundby agwrightComment: Lines, focus, patterns: simply wonderful. My eyes find lots of interest in this "simple" image. 10 from me (one of 3 10s in my book). |
