NIce placement of singer. I like the dark neg space which implies to me, oddly, that she is alone--or at least that she is alone with her music. Nice.

Kiss me! Mwaaw! Now I'm a prince--what? I'm NOT a prince? No wonder I'm grumpy! Neg space does not add grumpiness,but it does imply that the toad is part of a larger space. Is that sand he/she is on? I somehow wish it were more toad-environment-like. Oh well. Nice shot! 8

I'm not sure that the mother in the background is 'negative space' as there is something in it that is very interesting. This is a masterful photograph. 7

Neg space here implies a further universe, which is appropriate... Have you tried with the moon in the upper third?

Oops, it looks like my shot is similar to yours! Oh well. I do like yours a lot, and the light bulb adds a hint of whimsy to it. Did you try against a black background to make the light bulb stand out more?

LOvely idea and title. The gradual lightening of the image toward the top works well to imply many things. THumb is a little dark, but that's nitpicky!
