This is a great idea. The three roses in different stages works well. Lighting looks just a bit harsh, and the focus appears a bit soft. Good point of view for all three in the frame.

Mmmm. Steak! --or are these pork chops? Oh well. The lighting is a bit harsh, and so you lose some clarity, but I like the centered composition. You might want to experiment with getting much closer so we can't see all of every hunk of meat, or shooting in the shade. Keep up the good work.

I really enjoy this image. I'm having a hard time figuring out how it meets the challenge, though. Nice composition, and the dark tones seem appropriate.
