Thanks David. Just for the record, I wanted the mirrors to lose focus as they went around. It took me some time to achieve this effect. Thanks all!

mirror ball

Comment:
This is definitely mirrors! Okay, to be honest, I don't find this shot to be very interesting. Outside of 'Oh, its a mirror/party ball", I don't know what to think. You might try a more dramatic point of view, or different moody lighting. Or perhaps you could put the ball more in its context to show how groovy it can be as a party ball. I suppose what I'm trying to get at is that this ball, in and of itself, is not an interesting subject (at least to me). It could be, though. Perhaps it could represent partying and how great it is to have friends. Or perhaps it could communicate the thrill of dancing. You have a lot of choices, and your skills as a human and as a photographer (it appears you have a particular talent for finding interesting light and tones and patterns around you) will all come into play to communicate such things. Good luck and keep shooting!

Interesting abstract patterns here. I'm no expert with abstract photos, but I'm having a difficult time really enjoying this image (sorry for being blunt! Yikes!). I'm not really sure what makes an abstract photo work, but the patterns or colors or shapes, it seems to me, have to be so special that they are interesting in and of themselves. This doesn't quite do it for me, though I can appreciate your attempt. I wish I could be of more help. Sorry!

Comment:
I really like this idea. It appears as though you've gone to some length to create a mood with your lighting that is mysterious and perhaps even romantic. The light right on the kiss brings out the object very nicely. To improve the photo, you might consider your depth of field and experimenting with that. Also, b/w might be a good choice for this photo.
