Highlighting Beautyby Travis99Comment: I love the idea behind this image. You've focused the attention on the necklace with the color. The focus on the necklace needs to be just a little sharper to fully get the job done. |

Catch of your lifeby lissylouComment: Unfortunately, the ring gets lost in the glove in this shot. I like the idea, but your central subject is overwhelmed by the prop. |

Elegant Blingby phreakonComment: For a jewelry advertisement, the lighting across the stones needs to be almost equal on all areas. in this case, the stones on the left side of the image are in deep shadow which is very distracting. |

Beauty Jewel...by sfarrell23Comment: The angle of the lighting for this shot is wrong which leaves the stones in shadow. You need to lower your light to a point that's almost below the ring in order to get the lighting effect that will focus attention where it needs to be. |

Entwined with Natureby cheekymunkyComment: The ring almost gets lost in the flowers. You need to crop this down so that the ring is truly the center of attention. Also, the focus should be absolutely sharp on the ring. In this image, the focus on the ring is too soft. |

Iceby bruskiComment: This is an excellent image which focuses the viewer's attention where it should be . . . on the stone. Excellent job! |

Southwesternby vtruanComment: For an advertising piece, you really don't want the shadows which tend to be distracting. This is a shot where a macro ring would have given you the light that you need to fully illuminate the stones. |

Go Aheadby StrikeslipComment: For this image to really work, the diamond has to POP at the viewer. Because of the way this was lit, that's not the case. The diamond is reflecting gold when it should be just the glitter of crystal. |
