At the windowby dwterryComment: WOW, I love the composition here. The back lighting has more interest than just a plain white. The dark rust color is a great look for this, but it is a little darker that I would expect as "light" on white. I am docking just a little for the dark colors. The white border is...... just ok, I think you could do without a border at all on this. It takes a little away from the window frame and it's a little uneven right/left sides. The over-all shot is really great and well thought out. 8 |

Not Rockwellby graphicfunkComment: Norman Rockwell is the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this. (Before I read the title). Great tones. Brilliant work as usual !!!
Composition is outstanding, detail is crisp, lighting perfect. Only one idea for improving this one, and I'm not sure if it is much of a big deal. The lead-line from the easel is drawing my eye down to the watch and pulling attention from your face. I think by removing the dark watch you could improve the over-all balance. The introduction of the electronics also gives this a time stamp to what would otherwise be a timeless portrait. 9-1/2 |

Old Friend Treeby ColeyComment: Stunning picture! I love the tree and the pink sky. I'm not sure if you left the horizon tilted to the right because it is on a slope, but I think it could help to straighten it for this shot. Great color, subject, placement and simplicity. 9 |
