Bringin' the Heat by jenesisComment: Wooooo Whooooo! You did it !
Remarkable ingenuity is what makes people think to themselves:
"Why didn̢۪t I think of that".
Congratulations on this excellent Idea. I̢۪m happy to see you win the ribbon.
I knew it was just a matter of time.

33by KronusComment: This is not a bad shot as far as the composition goes. With his face looking down, it gives me the feeling that he has just been defeated. I think the color in this actually takes some drama away from the shot.
If you tone this one into an almost black/white with a hint of brown it really brings out a strong mood and would look pretty good in a frame surrounded by some other shots of him where his face can be seen.

Niagara Marsby KronusComment: This looks just miserable cold. I was wondering where this was (without looking at the title). The rounded tops of the ice on the tree mad me think it was in a cold fog. Then I read the title of the shot. I actually like the green tinge from the lamp in this and I really like the iced over and burned out lamp on the far right. An interesting place. Too cold for me. |

Way cool! I like this just as it is. I would love to see version #2 with a little grit and rust. Still a strong 10. |

Spentby CalliopeKelComment: This it my kind of shot! I really like everything about this. The color is natural and not pushed. I like the blown out detail in the window. I find it difficult to incorporate that technique into a photograph and still maintain aesthetic quality at this level. I'm a big fan of old rusty broken junk and wooden planks. I like a photo that can strategically break the rules and defy the usual principals of composition. Excellent in every way! 10 |

Grandma's kitchen by kiwinessComment: This is great!
I like the muted colors. The soft light from the window in a shot like this, is very difficult to hold detail as well as you have managed here. Impressive work. 10 |

Cottage For Saleby gsalComment: Wow! This is a great shot. I like the soft color and the perspective you decided to shoot it from. Beautiful crisp detail and natural placement of buckets and other elements to keep this unstaged. 10 |

Mercuryby nephotoComment: Great colors here! The light is just a little harsh on the grill. I might have defused it just a bit for this. I like the tinge of rust and the grass on the bottom of the frame. Nice shot. |
