Reflexby the99Comment: Strange, when I saw this shot my immeiate thought was 'oh no' but as I looked at it I realised that whilst it wasnt to my taste that in its own way it was a very strong image. I will be interested to read about the techniques you used in this. Good Luck |

Pearlsby MelissaRaeComment: Wow this looks like it could have been shot in the 1920's (not because of the technicals of the shot, rather the look and composition) Fantastic SP and the intense shocks of colour in terms of your lipstick, eyes hair and pearls works brilliantly given the low key background
Fantastic |

"Welcome my son, welcome to the machine"by LonzComment: Fantastic atmospheric and moody self portrait. Brilliant sharpness, colours and composition. A shot that makes me feel you are looking at me rather than the other way round.
Great image |

The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Seaby Bear_MusicComment: Stunning shot. Absolutely superb colouring and fantastic sharpness and detail, an image made for me by the eys which seem to tell unspoken tales of many things seen - both good and bad - but which retain a compassion and humanity.
Brilliant SP. Good Luck in the challenge |

Facing the End of a Decadeby colorcarnivalComment: Yup hitting your 20's must be hard!! Fantastic SP, it feels like it should be on the cover of a CD for a jazz/soul singer.
Love the unusual angle and the fact that the eyes are not looking at but beyond the camera.
Great B&W conversion too |

Me Twoby NordlysComment: Wow, what a great SP!!! Bizarrely in some ways it reminds me of an old ABBA video!!!
Love the sharpness both of and between the two faces. Great B&W conversion, super sharpness and great composition |

Selfby Wenders11Comment: Really like this SP and the way you have vignetted inside the border. Great expression as well and I dont know why but the hands really give the image something else. All in all a shot which infers a kind of vunerability.
Super job |

Sometimes I'm Afraid to Look...by smurfguyComment: Gee what a fantastically menaging SP, love the way you have illuminated your eye within the darkness. The negative space on the left of the shot just goes to emphasise the drama of the image. Super lighting and B&W conversion |

Birthday Wishby JutildaComment: Gosh this is a hard challenge to mark, especially when you see people that you 'know' from DPC. I am a big fan of your SP's and love the way that you portray yourself in such a variety of poses, from washer woman to something as 'gentle' as this. Wonderful full frame shot and I love the compassion that your face (especially the eyes) portrays |
