Great lighting in this shot, and although you are right that eggs seem to have figured quite hevily in recent challenges I think this is a very nice and different take on the subject

I thought I recognised Koln Cathedral, but the great thing is that this shot still has the sme impact and wow factor as the original did.. The majesty of the architecture is almost neyong words and I love the way you have composed the shot so the spire totally dominates and looms above the congregation/tourists

I thought that the composition of this shot was really impressive and created a sense of austere and dominating majesty

Super diagonal leading lines created by the cliff face and the sheer amount of rock on the right of the shot is offset nicely by the natural brdge and the the single outcrop in the centre/right of the image

Shame it could not have included the Northern Lights as well ;-)

I struggle to see why this didnt score higher. Great sharpness and dof and a love range of strong - yet not overpowering - tones in the black and white conversion.

What a great picture of the K at night. I have to say that nlike some people I really like the amount of sky at the top of the picture as it gives the pitch a symettrical balance

Fantastic colours and generally makes me look forward to the long summer nights for the upcoming season

Well for what its worth this scored a seven from me. I love the fact that whist flowers are a popular subject in challenges this was such a different treatment to that normally seen. Super sharpness and the B&W conversion works really well to creat a deep black background against which the flowers themselves really pop

Perhaps not your best photo of 2007 but still a stand out shot. Fantastic centred shot with the two outer escalators creating great diagonal leading lines. I have to say I quite like the noise and movement in the shot as it compliments the urban atmosphere. Very nice B&W conversion which has picked out the metal work well
