Yaaay Deb, great photo, great result and not even a train station in sight!!!

I think the fields of yellow stuff that you mention are crops of rapeseed oil, which for the last ten years or so have been appearing everywhere (can be used for producing vegetable oil for people and biodiesel amongst other things but is a real killer if you get too near it and you suffer from hayfever)

Anyway enough of the natural biology lesson, congrats again for a beautiful image

Wow great 'placing' of the bubble, could possibly have done with a slightly tighter crop on the right to remove the house drainpipe and window frame (the first of these almost runs on a rule of thirds line), lovely image though

I envy you...I tried and tried to get an image like this and failed lamentably, wonderful abstract although the two what appear like scratch lines in the lower right hand side of the image do distract slightly

OK love the idea and the image captured, for me the crop could have been a bit tighter to lose the bottom of the glad (maybe with the straw slightly higher)the blue background looks a tad flat and there are a few hot spots on the glass. Having said all that the actual shape of the bubble is genuinely beautiful and overall I like it... 7
