I had given this an 8 in the challenge but had commented that it might have been better in colour. Having seen the colour version in your outtakes I can now say that you called it dead right. B&W was the better version

Oh dear...4.4714% and 4% shows that I got this one seriously wrong perhaps I should have stuck with a more obvious interpretation of the balancing arms , but I really liked the image I entered and hoped that other people would see the double take more than perhaps they did

Peter this had been an image that I had liked in the challenge but just lacked the pop to make it a stop you in your tracks shot. Know that I know that you didnt have your 'proper' kit with you I understand why

Still made for a cool 'different' image in the challenge though

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I should have KNOWN only one person lurks around back alleys taking lovely b&w abstracts. I thought this was a really intriguing image and desreved to finish higher than it did

Ha welcome once again to the weird world of DPC Challenge voting where the mixture of some people loving the soft focus on the the eyes and others saying in needed to be improved probably caused you to either laugh or cry (or possibly both)

Just thought this was a really interesting and well balanced take on the challenge
