OK well I love westies and the one in the pciture is a real cutie.. Overall this is a lovely image of a pet and its owner, but feels very staged to me (the body language even suggests its possibly a self portrait) If I am wrong then I heartily apologise and kudos to you for this image, but lovely as it is is does not feel like a candid

Love the fact that the subject is shoeless which really adds to the 'off guard' moment that you have captured. Bit harsh on some of the whites though which are quite distracting
