Nice, but I can't help picturing the image sans hand! Perhaps you could have pulled your hand away at the last second before hitting the shutter. Then again, maybe you already tried that - I know how it is, sometimes you end picking a shot because its the sharpest or best composed... << 6 >>

Though the composition leaves me wanting, the display of backlighting is quite nice. It is a neat effect, but the image comes off a little busy with all the cacti in there. Moving in closer or simplifying the composition by framing a singular cactus with a simpler backdrop would have been more appealing to me. << 6 >>

Nice texture. It does seem to come off as an unsharp image that was sharpened, though that effect might have been caused by diffraction from so much backlight...
